Taking to social media while sitting stationary in his car, Carlin detailed his plight, saying: ‘I’m stressed, and I can’t put it down to one thing.

‘I’m figuring out that it’s important to be honest with myself. I’m just like, okay “you’ve got anxiety, and you’re stressed. It’s okay to feel that and not beat myself up about it.”

‘I just need to to take myself out of my head and focus on breathing, and think about the positive things that I have in my life, and to not let it overwhelm me.’

Carlin continued: ‘This is just me coming on here and being honest with myself, and I just want someone else [going through the same thing] to accept how you’re feeling, and not beat yourself up about it.’

The reality star then spoke candidly about his new single status: ‘Having gone through a break-up… it definitely takes a toll on you.

‘You try and hide those feelings and try to distract yourself but you do need to feel it and you do need to heal and be real with yourself and your emotions.’

The 30-year-old’s post, which was a screenshot of a tweet by someone else, read: ‘I say this in my classes: The problem isn’t men, it’s patriarchy.’

It went on to discuss various political issues: ‘The problem isn’t white people, it’s white supremacy. The problem isn’t straight people, it’s homophobia.

‘Recognize systems of oppression before letting individual defensiveness paralyze you from dismantling them.’

The post comes after Angie revealed the couple, who met on last year’s season on The Bachelorette, called it quits because their ‘values didn’t align’.
