Packed To The Rafters star Rebecca Gibney, 55, has a glowing and taut visage that could easily make most women envious.

And on Tuesday, the age-defying beauty showed what work goes on behind-the-scenes to make her look 25 years older. 

The Gold Logie-winning actress shared a series of images that showed her incredible transformation into an elderly 76-year-old.

Rebecca was sharing her physical change into Marion Woolnough, the mother of Peter Allen, in 2015 TV mini-series Not The Boy Next Door.

Throughout the series, which was filmed when she was 50, saw her character between the ages of 38 to 76. 

Rebecca credited the transformation to special affects artist, Sheldon Wade.

‘Check out the incredible skill,’ she captioned the post, imploring her fans to visit the artist’s Instagram page for more.       

In the photos, Rebecca was transformed into the character, who was in her late 70s, by the use of wigs and prosthetic. 

Her neck appeared to have winkled, loose-skin, while more wrinkles were visible on her forehead, around her eyes and smile.

In 2009, more than a decade ago, Rebecca told Women’s Weekly: ‘I’ve had a bit of Botox, which these days feels like having a facial.’  

In 2015, she also told Sunday Style: ‘I hate my neck at the moment, so I’m doing everything I can to avoid surgery.’

‘I’ve always been very honest – and, yes, I’ve tried Botox. I haven’t yet cut my face, not yet. That doesn’t mean I won’t.’
