She’s mastered the art of the early wake-up call as host of the daily Smooth Radio Breakfast Show.

But Jenni Falconer still had a spring in her step as she left the Global Studios in central London on Tuesday morning after recording her 6am to 10am segment.

The broadcaster, 44, cut a casual figure in stylish active-wear as she prepared to run home.

The TV and radio star put on a leggy display in black Lycra leggings with mesh detailing, which she teamed with a marbled light blue top.

The mother-of-one finished off the practical look with a pair of red and blue trainers.

Jenni wore her sleek blonde locks in a short crop and smiled as she walked down the street in the sunshine.

The presenter is no stranger to keeping active and often shares images and videos of herself working out and staying fit on social media.

Jenni had been hosting her radio show from the comfort of her own home during lockdown, much to the delight of her pet dog, Alfie.

The media personality has been spending plenty of time at home with actor husband James Midgley, who she wed in 2010, joking that ‘staying in is the new going out’.

She’s also been perfecting her dance skills alongside her husband and their daughter Ella Rose, nine, as well as doing yoga in her back garden.

Jenni recently said she was pleased fitness has become trendier these days and it’s encouraged to be strong and healthy rather than super skinny.

She told Fit & Well magazine: ‘Women are no longer starving themselves, but enjoying the transformation process. Even my mum plays golf and goes for walks with friends.

‘The more we can get young girls to do exercise, the better. Especially as a mum to a daughter – she follows my lead, so I have to set a good example.’
