Lisa Rinna posts annual bikini pic as January Jones dons plunging top and Nina Dobrev skis on July 4

Lisa Rinna led the stars in celebrating America’s Independence Day on her Instagram page this Saturday.

The 56-year-old posted her annual throwback snap in which she prances through the water at the beach while modeling a Stars And Stripes bikini.

‘If anything… I’m consistent. #happy4thofjuly’ she wrote with a heart emoji.

Meanwhile Mad Men star January Jones posted a smoldering Instagram video where she sat in her backyard enjoying a bottled beverage.

She wore a plunging red and white top with a pair of blue Daisy Dukes, sitting in a chair with an American flag sticking out of it.

‘Happy 4th of July! Be as free as the rules allow!’ she captioned the video in which she urged fans to be safe and wear masks while out of their homes.

Nina Dobrev skipped town and went up to the snow-capped mountains for a skiing trip but made sure to mark the occasion nevertheless.

She was all decked out in red, white and blue attire including a mask that featured a white star pattern on a navy field.

The Vampire Diaries diva did a festive little dance in her Boomerang and captioned simply: ‘July 4th, 2020’.

Kylie Jenner wished her fans on Instagram and posted a heavily made-up selfie to plug her global cosmetics empire.

Olivia Munn showed off her knockout legs in short shorts as she sat in a tent during a summery camping trip.

She posted some images from her excursion to Insta Stories and wrote: ‘HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY, ALSO, CAMPING IS SO HOT!’

Katy Perry tweeted a quote from one of her own hit songs and added a social message: ‘bb you’re a firework and also #BlackLivesMatter’.

Jessica Biel posted a throwback clip in which she and her husband Justin Timberlake practiced their axe-throwing.

Both of their weapons hit their targets and the couple gave each other a high-five, with Jessica exclaiming: ‘That was perfect!’

Andy Cohen posted a sweet snap of his one-year-old son Ben enjoying a walk along the beach in a pair of American flag shorts.

Chelsea Handler posted a bikini snap of herself floating in the pool and throwing her hands wide festively.

Wishing her fans: ‘Happy #4thOfJuly!’ she urged the Governor Of Michigan to ‘#FreeMichaelThompson’ as a ‘patriotic’ measure.

Michael Thompson was arrested in the 1990s for dealing marijuana to an informant and is serving a 60-year sentence.

He was convicted of various charges including illegal possession of a firearm as a felony offender, for guns found at his home during a warranted search, not in his car where he attempted the botched drug deal.

Chelsea stayed on-theme in her Insta Stories, noting that while floating in the pool she was smoking marijuana, which is now legal in both California and Michigan.

Miranda Lambert posed in the pool with her hubby Brendan McLoughlin and advised fans ‘to put your pets somewhere safe tonight before the fireworks.’

Mark Wahlberg simply posted a picture of a sunlit Old Glory waving in front of trees and wrote: ‘Happy birthday, America!’

Rob Kardashian uploaded a sweet childhood picture of himself in patriotic clothes as he sat on a pony, lifting his hat joyously into the air. 

Hailey Bieber reposted a NAACP upload for the #FalseFreedom campaign reading: ‘WE CAN’T CELEBRATE FREEDOM UNTIL WE ALL ARE FREE’.

Although the campaign website says white Instagram users should ‘Refrain from posting all day, only repost to increase the visibility of black stories,’ Hailey also uploaded bikini snaps of herself to the site that morning.

Madonna reposted the same NAACP upload followed by a quote by Black Lives Matter activist Blair Imani noting: ‘On July 4, 1776, Black Americans were still enslaved & Native Americans were being subjugated.’

Without attribution Madonna also re-posted Stephen Jackson’s call for everyone to wear ‘ALL BLACK’ on July 4th ‘so they know we’re still in this together.’ 

Hailey’s cousin Ireland Baldwin, who is the daughter of film star Alec Baldwin, also reposted the NAACP message.

She added her own: ‘It’s ok to be proud to be an American in some aspects, but as a whole we have a long battle ahead of us. Let’s enjoy ourselves today while continuing to fight the fight, continue to learn and understand, and make a real change. The real independence day comes in November.’

However as an Austrian immigrant who became an American citizen, Hollywood movie star and California Governor he touted ‘the promise of this country.’

He argued that ‘The world still believes in our promise,’ citing for example the immigrants hoping to relocate to the United States.

Lili Reinhart said she is ‘not celebrating American today because I’m not happy with the way that our country is right now. It’s not where it should be, and racism is still so prevalent, and our country’s being run by someone who’s homophobic and racist.’

The blonde bombshell said she will be honoring her late Riverdale co-star Luke Perry instead since the show did a 4th of July episode in his honor after his death.

Lizzo shared a picture of Breonna Taylor, an EMT shot dead in her home by police serving a no-knock warrant, and wrote: ‘We not free until we all free. #justiceforbreonnataylor.’

Rob Lowe showed that his family’s patio table was all set for the big day, including a tablecloth and place settings in the themed colors.

Sofia Vergara posted a backyard Boomerang in which she joyously doffed her American flag hat and did a little dance. 

The image was part of a whole Instagram album where she showed how she was ringing in the holiday with her family.

Her husband Joe Manganiello could be seen working the grill, as well as at one point holding the family dogs.

Sofia’s son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, the scion of her first marriage back in Colombia, was also part of the fun.
