Rebekah Vardy ‘set to be offered her own reality TV show after the WAG war with Coleen Rooney ends’

Rebekah Vardy is ‘set to be offered her own reality TV show after the WAG war with Coleen Rooney reaches its conclusion’

Rebekah Vardy is set to be offered her own reality show after the WAG war with Coleen Rooney reaches its conclusion, according to reports.

It is thought that the mother-of-five, 38, will be inundated with TV deals as a result of the ongoing scandal.

A source told the Mirror: ‘Production companies are desperate to work with her and are pitching ideas to channels like TLC and ITV. They would love her to do a massive TV interview or series for next year.

‘Some producers have expressed an interest in doing a reality format show with her and the family.

‘They know it would be a massive draw as everybody was fascinated by Rebekah and the whole WAG-atha Christie feud last year, and would love to know the inside track on all the mud-slinging. It would make for gripping television.’

It would not be Rebekah’s first foray on to TV screens after appearing as a recent panelist on Loose Women as well as being parachuted into the I’m A Celebrity jungle in 2018.

MailOnline has contacted Rebekah’s representatives for comment.

The rumours come amid the ongoing ‘WAG war’, which was sparked last year after Coleen, 34, publicly accused Becky’s Instagram account of leaking stories about her – something which she vehemently denies.

Becky is said to have then filed paperwork, claiming her ex friend Coleen defamed her on social media when she posted the serious allegation.

Last month, the pair held a video meeting in a last-ditch attempt to avoid a very public and expensive court hearing, yet it ended in a bitter deadlock.

Coleen has since branded Rebekah’s decision to issue court proceedings ‘disappointing’ in a statement issued via her legal team.

Coleen’s lawyer Paul Lunt of Brabners said in a statement: ‘It is disappointing that Mrs Vardy has chosen to issue court proceedings.

‘Coleen feels that the time and money involved could be put to better use; her offer to meet face to face still stands.

It comes amid reports that Coleen is planning to spend millions in a bid to win her legal battle.

She is said to have a ‘blank cheque ready’ and to not be afraid to pay whatever is needed, if Becky refuses to back down, as the WAGS head to court.

A source told The Sun: ‘Legal fees could easily spiral into seven figures, it’s only going to intensify.

According to the insider, after spending 18 months to find out who was behind the leaks, the Liverpudlian beauty will not back down.

‘She would obviously prefer this came to an end sooner rather than later but that will only happen if Becky backs down.

‘If she won’t, she’s got no qualms about going all the way and has a blank cheque ready.’
