Lucy Hale exudes summertime chic as she steps out in LA

Lucy Hale was a vision of summertime chic as she enjoyed the sunshine on Friday.

The actress, 31, wore a white lace top and matching face mask while out in Los Angeles.

Lucy teamed the lovely shirt with a relaxed pair of hip-hugging blue jeans and black sandals.  

The star dressed up her style with a glimmering gold necklace and an array of rings.

Though her face was mostly obscured behind the mask, she did seem to be wearing just a hint of makeup – mascara to brighten up her eyes.  

She pulled back her jet black locks into a low ponytail, allowing her face to shine while keeping her cool during the warm day. 

Lucy was on the move as she stepped outside with her purse slung over her shoulder and keys dangled in hand. 

She strolled into the parking lot with her phone in hand, keeping her in the loop for any incoming messages. 

As relaxed as Lucy looked that day, it has been a rather tough few days for the actress, whose CW series Katy Keene had been cancelled after just one season.

Lucy addressed the cancellation with her Instagram followers on Thursday night, where she admitted she had to do three takes of her message because she had been a ‘blubbering mess.’ 

‘I kind of struggled all day with what I wanted to say about this, or if I shouldn’t say anything, but nothing felt right,’ she began.

She said she didn’t want to ‘post a picture’ because, ‘nothing would do justice to how I feel about Katy Keene, or how I feel about the people involved with it.’

‘Truly, one of the highlights of my life,’ she added, calling the show a ‘total joy from top to bottom.’

The initial report from Deadline on Thursday indicated the show’s producers will be seeking a new home for the show, which may be HBO Max, where the show is currently streaming.
