Alice Eve and Gentleman Jack star Lydia Leonard sink a pint

Why wait for Super Saturday? Alice Eve and Gentleman Jack star Lydia Leonard sink a pint… on boozy Tuesday! (Thanks to a bar open for takeaways during the pandemic)

While most of the country had to wait until pubs reopened yesterday to down a pint, two of Britain’s top actresses laughed off lockdown to satisfy their thirst as early as Tuesday.

Alice Eve and Gentleman Jack star Lydia Leonard shared a beer and some gossip on an East London kerb, howling with glee as they did.

Dressed in a black and green checked dress and flat boots, Miss Eve bought the ale from trendy bar The Hunter S.

In May she moved out of the West London flat she shared with her brother George to relocate to her own home nearby.

The Oxford-educated actress, who splits her time between London and Los Angeles, spent months living with her younger sibling.

In 2017, Miss Eve split from her teenage sweetheart after three years of marriage. She had met Alex Cowper-Smith, now a financier, while they were both students at the exclusive Westminster School.
