Love Island’s Danny Williams is rushed to hospital after breaking his ankle in a freak accident while reuniting with Maura Higgins and co-star pals
Love Island’s Danny Williams ended up in hospital after a freak accident at an unofficial Love Island Reunion with Maura Higgins, Michael Griffiths, Chris Taylor and Jordan Hames.
Danny, 21, and his pals dubbed Destiny’s Chaldish by Love Island fans met with Maura, 29, after she offered to help him and the boys move into their new flat together.
And drama was never far away as Danny broke his ankle after putting on a pair of red platform heels and dressing up with the boys and trying to strut about in them.

The boys had decided to have a laugh while they unpacked their boxes in their swanky new Essex pad which is just around the corner from Maura Higgins flat.
As Chris, 29, Danny and Jordan, 24, showed off their best runway strut for a Tik Tok video, Danny fell to the ground in agony and was rushed to hospital where he received morphine to help take the pain away.
Danny said of the embarrassing incident: “First Tik tok with you lot and it’s cost memy ankle ffs is this what is gonna be like living with you?’

After he was videod fast asleep with his phone in hand following the hospital visit he said: ‘The morphine must’ve knocked me clean out. Don’t even remember falling asleep.’
Asked by a fan on Instagram if it was sore he added: ‘I’ll let you know once the painkillers have worn off. They reckon with physio I’m looking at 6-8 months.’
Michael Griffiths, 27, who is also moving in with his telly friends admitted: ‘That was the funniest thing to see this morning.’
Recovery:: Danny was soon back from the hospital and fast asleep asleep following his injury
Danny replied: ‘You refused to put heels on and now I know why. Also I’m awfully suspicious how Jordan got that confident strutting in heels.’
Putting a story on his Instagram later Chris posted that he was ‘at the hospital’ with his friend and added: ‘HATS OFF GIRLS…this is A LOT harder than we thought. Ask @itsdannywilliams left ankle @jxrdanhames.
‘Any one need x3 pairs of size 11 heels? Worn once, barely damaged. Comes with three toes and half of Danny’s ankle.
‘DM me cos I never want to see them again. Getting PTSD. Actually starting to wonder if these boys will ever say no to my ridiculous suggestions. Mad respect though.’
He also asked if anyone knew of a decent physio to help Danny’s recovery.
Maura Higgins who has just launched her new make up line said nothing about the incident, but put up a video of Jordan playing a drinking game with the lads in their new home which featured her voice egging them on.
