But days later more details were made public as Kristin claimed in divorce documents that Jay was ‘guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper,’.

In addition, Kristin claimed in the filing that Jay insinuated misconduct on her part; the document, obtained by TMZ, says: ‘Any misconduct alleged or implied against her in the complaint for divorce was in response to and/or as a result of misconduct on behalf of her Husband,’

Kristin requested primary physical custody of their three kids, child support, and for Jay to pay for their health insurance and Jay requested joint custody of their children.

They are parents to sons Camden, seven, Jaxon, six, and daughter Saylor, four.

Kristin also claimed that Jay wasn’t available as a father to their kids in her filing, which he denied in his filing.

Kristin said in her court documents: ‘She denies that Husband has always been the available at home parent and primary caretaker of the parties’ minor children. Wife would show that she had been the primary residential parent.’

Jay said in his filing: ‘Husband has always been the available at-home parent and the primary caretaker of the parties minor children.’

Kristin was said to be ‘blindsided’ by Jay’s divorce filing and his claim that he has been the ‘primary caregiver’ to their children.

‘His filing was basically trying to take her out of the equation so she had to respond strongly,’ the source explained. ‘She’s not going to be taken out of the equation when it comes to her children.’

‘She had hoped they could work things out more amicably and they were off to a good start before Jay pulled the trigger,’ the source claimed to E! News
