Liev Schreiber introduces new dog Scout on Instagram after rescue dog Woody got hit by car and died
Liev Schreiber took to Instagram on Wednesday to introduce a new canine companion.
The 52-year-old actor shared pictures and video of his new dog for his roughly 492,000 followers.
‘New guy. His name is Scout. Thank you to Tee and all the good people @tobiessmalldogrescue,’ Liev wrote in the caption.

The video clip showed Scout playing with his dog Willow that he adopted in 2017 along with his beloved late pooch Woody.
Liev revealed Sunday on Instagram that Woody recently died.
He shared a video clip of Woody in the passenger seat of a vehicle enjoying the view as the landscape whizzed by.
‘Been off the grid for a bit and just now beginning to find my way back. On top of everything else happening in the world right now, about three weeks ago Woody was hit by a car and unfortunately he didn’t make it. It was all over fairly quickly and I don’t think he suffered too much,’ Liev wrote in the caption.

‘I wish I could say the same for us. He was an amazing friend, teacher, and companion. He helped me rebuild my life in a way that wouldn’t have been possible without him. Those of you who have a friend like Woody will know what I mean. Hold them close,’ he added.
Woody and Willow as puppies were sent to New York City in 2017 after they were displaced from a shelter in Texas due to Hurricane Harvey.
Liev met them while appearing on Live With Kelly And Ryan and was seen in a YouTube video showing the pups to ex-wife Naomi Watts, 51, and their sons Sasha, 12, and Samuel, 11, in a video call.
