Grant went on to tell his followers there may be no koalas left in the wild by 2050.

‘Meeting a furry Mum with a bub on her back, with mine on my front, is a pretty damn special family moment,’ Grant wrote in the caption.

He added: ‘I just can’t believe some experts are saying there could be NO KOALA’S LEFT in the wild by 2050… how bloody devastating.

Grant went on to reveal his two daughters ‘loved Hugo the enormous Galapagos tortoise who comes over for a scratch’.

‘Scout wants to ride him to school for “show and tell”. I said she better start riding Hugo at the start of term and hopefully she’ll get there by the end of it,’ Grant said.

He added: ‘Love to see their little eyes light up learning about animals.’
