Three-time Oscar nominee Michelle Pfeiffer accidentally smeared black mascara across her nose and upper lip while attempting to do her own make-up on Wednesday.

The 61-year-old Birkenstock-loving blonde – who boasts 1.6M Instagram followers – exclaimed: ‘EEK!!! Doing my make-up for an interview and picked up the wrong tissue.’

Michelle’s post was ‘liked’ by her Maleficent co-star Elle Fanning, At Home host Amy Sedaris, and it received comments from her sister-in-law Rona and stylist Samantha McMillen.

Pfeiffer normally relies on the talent of Oscar nominee Ronnie Specter, who’s done her make-up in 17 films beginning with The Fabulous Baker Boys in 1989.

But due to the COVID-19 crisis, a lot of celebrities feel more comfortable going DIY rather than putting themselves at risk of infection with a full glam squad.

The Avengers: Endgame action star and her second husband David E. Kelley have been busy overseeing renovations on the $22.5M mansion in the Pacific Palisades they bought on January 17.
