Emily Atack wraps her arm around mum Kate Robbins as they reunite after being separated by lockdown

She recently admitted that she were struggling being apart during lockdown.

And Emily Atack enjoyed a sweet reunion with her mum Kate Robbins on Wednesday, as they cuddled up for a sweet selfie together at home.

The TV presenter, 30, looked typically stylish in a form-fitting black top, which she tucked into a pair of high-rise blue jeans.

The former Extra Camp host wore her blonde locks in chic plaits, and enhanced her pretty features with a neutral pallet of make-up in bronze tones.

Emily posed with her arm hooked around her mum’s shoulders, while Kate looked stunning in a black and white polka dot summer dress.

At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Emily spoke about how she was coping without seeing her mother while on Good Morning Britain.

Emily said: ‘She’s [mother] good, she’s missing us all. It is hard, we have our moments, we call each other and bring each up.

Social bubbles were recently introduced meaning that people who live in a single household like Emily, were able to have loved ones in their homes.

Emily recently revealed she’s focusing on reuniting with her family once the coronavirus prevention guidelines are eased, after the ‘heartbreak’ of a solo lockdown ‘corona-coaster’ made her priorities clear.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, the actress declared ‘snogs can come later and boys can wait’ as she embraces the single life following her split from her boyfriend of six months Rob Jowers in September last year.

The Inbetweeners star, who is a spokesperson for Virgin Media’s Must-See Moment Award at this year’s BAFTA Television ceremony, confessed she’s experienced ‘down days’ but has used her time in quarantine to ‘reflect’ on what makes her ‘happy’.

Emily broke silence on her ‘tough’ break-up from film producer boyfriend Rob in October 2019, admitting she hoped he was her ‘happy ending’.

Despite recently stating she’d ‘give anything to have a row with a husband right now’, the media personality has centred her attention on seeing her nearest and dearest once the lockdown is completely lifted.

‘I think the first step is to see friends and family. I certainly can’t wait to go out with my single friends again, but snogs can come later’, she said.

The daughter of Kate and musician Keith Atack, who lives alone in her North London flat, explained she’s missing the company of her relatives after months apart. 

She added: ‘I just want to see my parents, brother and sister again. I joke all the time about how fun dating and being single is but for me I just want to hug my mummy!

‘I’ve been slowly socially distancing myself and meeting up with a few members of the family, but for example there’s a new baby in the family who I can’t wait to hold. For me at the moment it’s all about family, boys can wait.’
