Asher Keddie shares very rare photos of her five-year-old son Valentino

Asher Keddie has shared rare photos of her five-year-old son, Valentino, and the resemblance between the actress and her little boy is undeniable.

In a post on Instagram on Monday, the 45-year-old Offspring star posed a series of photos of her young son, something she rarely does.

Asher shares Valentino with her husband of six years, artist Vincent Fantauzzo, and it seems the child has inherited his mother’s wide hazel-green eyes and impish grin.

He even poses for photos like the award-winning actress often does, resting one hand against the side of his face and leaning his head into his palm.

‘I love this boy,’ Asher simply captioned the photos.  

And fans couldn’t help but point out the glaring similarities between mother and son, with many branding Valentino a ‘mini Asher’.  

‘He looks so much like you,’ commented one fan, while another wrote, ‘Mini you!’ 

‘Mini Asher, very cute!’ added another, while one person wrote, ‘Very cute, looks so like his Mama!’

Asked one fan: ‘Was there ever a little boy more like his Mamma?’ 

In addition to Valentino, Asher also has a stepson, Luca, nine, from her husband’s previous relationship.  

‘When you have children, they inform all your… well, they inform all my choices,’ she told Who magazine in January 2019.

In an interview with InStyle in July 2019, Asher said she and her husband were ‘conscious’ about raising their sons to be good people.

She said it was important for them to lay the groundwork while their sons were still young enough. 

‘We are incredibly conscious – and to an extent concerned too – about the way we are raising [our boys] right now, as opposed to waiting until their teen years when they are going to navigate this kind of territory,’ she explained.

She added: ‘I am pretty consumed by my role as a parent and the choices that I’m making [now] to help my boys develop into thoughtful, confident, respectful gentlemen.’
