Lucy Hale has helped break up the monotony of quarantine life in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic months by going on walks, hikes and quick excursions with her beloved pet pooch Elvis.

And on Monday the Pretty Little Liars alum, 31, checked all three boxes that started with a morning hike in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles. 

The great outdoors: Lucy Hale, 31, made her Monday a day of exercise and fun in the sun that included a hike and trek to the dog park in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles

With blue and black weights fastened to each ankle, the Tennessee native was all about working out her petite 5ft 2in figure.

And she looked the part in black sports leggings, that hugged her toned legs and hips, a black tank top and matching sneakers.

With the number of coronavirus cases surging in California in recent weeks, Hale didn’t take any chances and wore a colorful protective mask at all times during her trek.

She even remembered to bring a water bottle to keep hydrated on what turned out to be another warm and sunny day in SoCal.

At times the actress, who’s the leading lady in the new comedy film A Nice Girl Like You, slowed down or stopped to make some calls.

Eventually her attention turned to her dog, Elvis, and she picked up her white, four-legged family member and drove to a dog park in Studio City in the afternoon.

Hale sipped on a fruit smoothie as she kept an eye on Elvis while he patrolled the sandy surroundings. 

Eventually she picked up the little guy and the two were on their way back to the car for the drive back home.

Hale currently has two films in post-production: the biographical drama Son Of The South and the genre-bending dark comedy Big Gold Brick.
