She has been involved in a harrowing storyline on Coronation Street that has seen her character Leanne Battersby’s son Oliver battle a heartbreaking illness.
And Jane Danson opted for a laid back look as she grabbed a bite to eat from a bakery in Wilmslow, Cheshire on Tuesday.
The soap actress, 41, donned a blue denim jacket along with a matching pair of jeans for the outing.

She also sported a white printed hoodie which she wore over a baby pink shirt along with a pair of white trainers.
Carrying a brown handbag, Jane added to her look with a pair of diamond stud earrings.
The TV star completed her look for the day by letting her blonde locks fall loose down her shoulders.
Jane recently revealed it was ‘very emotional’ returning to work on Coronation Street after production was shut down for three months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

She told Digital Spy: ‘It felt like I was leaving when we first shut down. To go back into a building that was getting fuller again was lovely. Everyone was so courteous to each other and helpful and selfless – they were super kind to us.
‘At the end of the day, unprompted, there was a round of applause and that was really emotional. That usually only happens on special occasions like someone leaving or going on maternity leave.’
Jane is involved in a harrowing storyline involving Leanne’s son Oliver’s battle with mitochondrial disease.
Mitochondrial disease affects the heart, brain, muscles and lungs and can lead to seizures, atypical cerebral palsy, autistic features, developmental problems, fainting and temperature instability.

Leanne was recently left devastated when she was told that Oliver has an incurable form of the disease in Monday’s episode.
Leanne and her husband Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) were left reeling and she soon lashed out at those around her while struggling to come to terms with the news.
As the episode went on, Leanne ultimately broke down, unable to cope with the thought of losing her young son.
Speaking previously on Loose Women, Jane said: ‘This storyline had a huge sense of responsibility, as this is someone’s story.

‘Myself and Simon Gregson, who plays Steve, have had lots of messages from people going thought it. So we have a responsibility to get it right.
‘Not only the medical side of things but the human side too, which is obviously my responsibility.’
The soap star also revealed she and Simon did a lot of research for the role and spoke to Liz Curtis, from The Lily Foundation, who lost her own daughter Lily to the disease.
On being scared about her job over the storyline, Jane said: ‘It’s not so much about being scared about losing the job. In this industry, there’s never a guarantee.
‘I was more worried which direction it would go, I worried how she’ll cope if it came to the worst.’

Talking about how the cast had kept in touch, Jane said: ‘We’ve been doing A lot of zooming, we’ve got a WhatsApp group keeping in touch as a group and individually. Everyone is dealing with things differently.
‘We all have good days and bad days. We are a family. We’re all looking forward to getting back together and working together.’
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
