Shameless actor Steve Howey and his wife Sarah Shahi are divorcing after 11 years of marriage and three children together.
Shahi filed for divorce in Los Angeles on May 4, according to People.
‘After much thought and consideration, we have decided to end our marriage,’ a statement from the pair reads. ‘We are so grateful for the past 10 years together and proud of our children that we’ve raised.

‘As we enter into this new phase of our lives, our priority will remain co-parenting our children with so much love, mutual respect and friendship. And though our relationship is changing, we are committed to continuing our lives as a loving family.’
Howey and Shahi tied the knot in Las Vegas in February 2009.
Just five months later, they welcomed their son William, followed by twins Violet and Knox in 2015.
The couple met while guest starring on an episode of Reba in 2004, and were engaged three years later.
