Katharine McPhee celebrates one year of marriage to David Foster as she shares wedding day snaps: ‘A year ago today I married the love of my life’
Katharine McPhee is celebrating one year of marriage to the ‘love of my life’, David Foster.
The Smash actress, 36, shared wedding day photos and a gushing tribute to her husband, 70, on Instagram on Sunday.
In the snap, Foster held his bride as the newlyweds stood together at the altar.

Katharine looked gorgeous in her white wedding dress and veil, which dramatically cascaded down to the floor.
She rested an arm upon her husband’s shoulder, while carrying a bouquet of lilac-tint flowers in her free hand.
‘A year ago today I married the love of my life,’ she captioned the snap. ‘Thank you for always loving me and inspiring me in all aspects of my life. I love you. Here’s to the future! (Oh and happy anniversary to the other love of my life – this dreamy dress! thank you @ZacPosen!!)’.
She also shared behind-the-scenes footage of herself trying on her gorgeous wedding dress, with Posen on hand to help fit the bride into the frock.

The loving shout-outs continued on her Instagram stories.
‘Happy anniversary to us,’ she wrote in a wedding day snap, along with several lovey-dovey emojis. ‘I love you @DavidFoster.’
‘I also really love that dress! Like a lot!’ she said, tagging Zac.
Katharine tied the knot with David in London following a one-year-long engagement.

David has been married four times before Katharine, and the music producer opened up about his struggles in relationships in his upcoming documentary, David Foster: Off The Record.
Speaking of his five marriages, David said in the trailer that ‘when things get rough or bad, rather than working it out I run.’

The film, which is directed by Barry Avrich, includes interviews with some of the legendary songwriter’s daughters, four out of five of whom are older than his current wife.
His daughter Erin Foster states matter-of-factly: ‘Women are his weakness.’
