Before the online concert, Robbie had last performed with Take That during The X Factor final in 2018 and promised he will perform with them again in the future.

He said: ‘Yeah, so, you know, we will ride again, me and my brothers. I don’t know when that’s going to be but we will ride again.

‘The songs I’m writing are more mature than what I usually do. Whatever I do and whoever I do it with it will be unexpected.’

Robbie originally left Take That in 1995 and last appeared on their 2010 studio album Progress before returning to his solo career.

Elsewhere in the interview, the hitmaker also revealed he named his daughter Theodora, nicknamed Teddy, after being inspired by Keith Richards.

He said: ‘Listen, who was it, it was Keith Richards has a daughter called Theodora and I remember back in the day, maybe 20 years ago, thinking what a beautiful name.

‘So I stole it from Keith Richards so don’t you worry about that.’

It comes after Robbie admitted he has experienced anxiety during lockdown but is ‘grateful’ he has been able to spend so much time with his wife Ayda Field, 41, and their four children.

In another chat with Mark, he said: ‘I’ve been wanting to get back to work and do things. And I’ve been thinking, I’ve got sort of anxiety about, I can’t get and be and do, and then I thought to myself, do you know what, I’m in exactly the right place with exactly the right people at exactly the right time.

‘There might never be another time on the planet where I get to spend this much concentrated time with my family, my kids so I’m very grateful.’

Mark then revealed he has the same philosophy during lockdown, saying: ‘That’s the biggest thing I take out of this Robs, it’s so hard to find a positive in such a negative situation, but you have to take positives from everything in life.’

The former TOWIE star said he has been able to enjoy spending quality time with his wife Michelle Keegan.

He said: ‘The one thing for me, you are busier than me of course, but I travel around the world so much that I’m away from my wife a lot so to be home with her during this lockdown period in a way has been amazing.’

Robbie replied: ‘Yeah and like you say, finding the positive in a negative, that bit has been a blessing for me. That being said, I can’t wait to get back to work and do what I do because I enjoy doing that too.’
