Helena Christensen, 51, showcases her supermodel legs on a dog walk in NYC

She boasts a modelling career spanning decades. 

And Helena Christensen, 51, proved she remains every inch the supermodel as she stepped out to walk her dog in New York on Wednesday. 

The fashionista looked phenomenal in a chic denim dress which made the most of her lithe legs while she protected her modesty in the mini with shorts underneath.

Helena was showcasing all her best assets in the stunning ensemble as she treated the sidewalk as a catwalk with her long legs on full display. 

The brunette beauty wore her hair in loose waves with her short fringe sitting above her eyebrows for an edgy addition to her ‘do.

Helena’s dazzling modelling career was launched when she won the Miss Universe Denmark title in 1986 and went on to reach staggering heights.

She went on to become one of the original 1990s supermodels alongside Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson and Claudia Schiffer.

Since her break into the fashion industry, Helena also has become an accomplished photographer and was a co-founder of Nylon magazine that published from 1999 to 2017.

Last year, the stunning model spoke to the Daily Mail about some of the fitness secrets that have helped her maintain her bombshell figure.

‘I think it’s important to shake it up and do as many different forms of workout as possible, but also to incorporate nature into them,’ she said.

‘Swim in the ocean, swim in rivers, swim in lakes. Hiking, trekking, chopping wood – it’s the best way of working out, because it doesn’t really feel like a workout. It feels like you’re alive,’ Helena explained.

The Copenhagen native is the mum to a 20-year-old son named Mingus, who she shares with Norman Reedus. They dated between 1998 and 2003.

Norman has since moved on to actress Diane Kruger. They share a one-year-old daughter together.
