Ex-Home and Away star Lincoln Lewis reveals his surprising new hobby as he discusses upskilling during lockdown
Actor Lincoln Lewis has made the most of his downtime during lockdown by upskilling with two new hobbies.
As well as taking a stunt course to make him a more well-rounded actor, the former Home and Away star has also taken on a surprising new pastime – beekeeping.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the star, 32, explained that he has been investing in native stingless bees, adding: ‘I ultimately want to get to 100 hives.’

Reflecting on his future with beekeeping, Lincoln added: ‘I love being near the beach, but one day it would be cool to have a house where I can grow all my own food, have my bees everywhere and you can live reasonably off the stuff that you grow.’
In a recent Instagram post, Lincoln also encouraged the benefits of organic produce as he announced he was ambassador for this year’s Australian Organic Awareness Month campaign.

Lincoln recently revealed he was so keen to reprise his role of Geoff Campbell on Home and Away, that he asked producers for his job back.
He made the admission during a interview with Neighbours star Takaya Honda on his Tak Talks YouTube series in April.
‘I actually pitched a storyline for the Home and Away producers at the start of the year about reprising Geoff, but they ghosted me!’ he said.
He continued: ‘But it is what it is. That’s the industry. That’s just like going for an audition. You don’t hear back. That’s the way it goes.’

Earlier this month, Lincoln appeared alongside his sister Jamie-Lee on Channel Seven’s The Daily Edition as she explained how a double cochlear implant changed her life.
The sports star, 30, who was born profoundly deaf, said the implant gave her the opportunity to hear her parent’s speak for the first time.
‘It’s made a huge difference. Even being able to hear mum and dad say “I love you”. It’s those little things that make a massive difference,’ she said.
