The One Show’s Alex Jones and Chris Ramsey swap genders in incredible snaps

The One Show returned to BBC on Monday evening with Alex Jones joined by guest host Chris Ramsey.

And to mark the return of the magazine show, the TV hosting duo decided to jump on the bandwagon with the latest online trend, using an app which swaps gender on the subject of a picture uploaded by the user.

The Welsh presenter took to Instagram to share an image in which she had a beard on her face, while Chris, 33, was transformed into a stunning woman. 

Alex appeared particularly tickled by the snap as she revealed she looked like one of her ex-boyfriends in her bearded glory. 

She added a caption reading: ‘This. Chris Ramsey looks pretty stunning! We decided that I look like a boy that works on the waltzers in the fair…

‘Tbh..I actually look uncomfortably similar to an ex boyfriend’.

Since Matt Baker left the show last year, Alex has hosted alongside a host of guest presenters with Chris the latest in the long list. 

As the show opened, Chris stunned fans when he recalled an ‘awkward’ moment with Alex as he said: ‘Hello and welcome to The One Show with Alex Jones’.

She opened with: ‘And with me all week, lovely to have him back, it’s Chris Ramsey.’ 

Chris stated: ‘Lovely to be here! So happy to be here!’, while Alex responded: ‘Oh I am so happy, I have’t seen you since the very beginning of lockdown.’  

He said: ‘Yeah it was the Friday before lockdown’, while Alex said: ‘You were the first person I socially distanced from.’ 

Chris recalled: ‘Yeah I will never forget it. It was awkward and horrible but we’re used to it now. I was on the edge of that sofa hanging off like a little gnome, it was awful… 

‘I would like to thank you, it’s good to me back. I’ve got a shirt on for the first time since the start of lockdown’, while Alex smiled: ‘I know, it’s very posh.’
