Pip Edwards makes a subtle confirmation of her romance with Michael Clarke in an Instagram post

She’s believed to be back on with Michael Clarke after their rumoured split in April.

And on Wednesday, fashion designer Pip Edwards appeared to confirm their romance with a rather cheeky Instagram post.

The P.E Nation co-founder, 40, shared a mirror selfie and said that she was wearing her ‘boyfriend’s blazer’.

‘Me in my boyfriend’s blazer’: Pip Edwards made a subtle confirmation of her romance with Michael Clarke in an Instagram post on Wednesday

In the image, Pip looked stylish in straight-leg jeans, a white T-shirt and a black jacket, which she teamed with Burberry boots.

She captioned it, ‘Me in my boyfriend(‘s) blazer,’ adding three wink-face emojis.

A boyfriend blazer is an over-sized, boxy style of blazer, but Pip’s telling use of parentheses hints it was actually the blazer belonging to her boyfriend.

The activewear mogul couldn’t wipe the smile from her face as she and the retired cricketer met up with her 12-year-old son, Justice, inside the eatery.

The couple – who were first believed to have split two months ago – looked smitten as they got cosy at the table while chatting away with friends.

They had been pictured together a day earlier in Rose Bay, and even appeared to be holding hands.

The Clarkes ended things in September, but didn’t confirm their break-up until February 12.

When news of Michael and Pip’s relationship surfaced, they both denied they were anything more than friends.

They told Daily Mail Australia in February they had been friends for 12 years and were simply working on a project together.

Pip also insisted the rumours were ‘absolutely unfounded and untrue’.

Despite their denials, it’s understood they were an item. They reportedly ended things in April because Michael couldn’t handle the publicity that came with dating the activewear designer.

This month meanwhile, Pip reflected on ‘being alone at 40’ in a raw interview with Gritty Pretty magazine.

In conversation with supermodel Elle Macpherson, the mother-of-one said she had always feared being alone, and found herself doing some soul searching several weeks ago when she celebrated her milestone birthday in self-isolation.

‘I think one of my greatest fears since forever was being alone,’ Pip said.

She was quick to clarify, however, that she was only alone in a romantic sense, because she does live with her 12-year-old son, Justice.

The P.E Nation founder also added that she was ‘really happy to be alone’, which she had never expected to be able to say to herself.

Pip used her 40th birthday in April to reflect on her personal life so far.

‘I spent some time going through the career changes, the many men, the trials and tribulations of life… I really sat with myself and I’d probably never done that in 40 years,’ she said.
