Jessie James Decker’s son Forrest, 2, has ‘golf ball-sized boil’ removed at hospital after ‘freak bug bite’

Country crooner Jessie James Decker rushed her two-year-old son Forrest Bradley to the hospital on Wednesday to treat a ‘freak bug bite’ on his ‘hiney.’

‘After a few days somehow it turned into a staph which turned into a boil! It was like a golf ball it was so hard and he was in so much pain,’ the 32-year-old mother-of-three – who boasts 5.3M social media followers – explained.

‘He got a very high fever and we had to take him to the emergency room late night. Obviously with [COVID-19] only I could I go in with him. They had to sedate him and cut it open and get it all out.

‘He handled it like a champ but it was so sad to see him in so much pain! I could not believe this happened. It was such a freak thing. He got [an] antibiotic and that helped big time. Has this ever happened to anyone else?’

Jessie and her husband – retired NFL wide receiver Eric Decker – are also parents to six-year-old daughter Vivianne Rose and four-year-old son Eric Thomas.

Aside from the health scare, the Deckers have spent the week celebrating Father’s Day immediately followed by their seventh wedding anniversary on Monday.

The Roots and Wings singer called the 33-year-old ex-footballer ‘my best friend’ and ‘love of my life’ as he gushed: ‘I love you, adore you, and will forever strive to make your life full!’
