Will Ferrell wears his name on his T-shirt during a sweaty solo run around LA on Father’s Day

He previously compared raising his three sons to ‘running a small correctional facility.’

And on Father’s Day, Will Ferrell decided to treat himself to some peaceful alone time away from his family on Sunday. 

The 52-year-old was spotted wearing a ‘Ferrell’ T-shirt during a run around his Los Angeles neighborhood. 

Will’s green T-shirt appeared quite sweaty with a three-leaf clover underneath his name. 

He carried a water bottle and teamed the look with blue shorts and a pair of multi-colored sneakers. 

The avid runner added some compression calf sleeves to avoid the onset of any pains or shin splints. 

Will accessorised with a pair of shades and a burgundy colored cap that kept his longer silver lockdown hair in place. 

Not seen with the Step Brothers actor was his wife, Viveca Paulin, 50, and their three kids, Magnus, 16, Mattias, 13, and Axel, 10. 

The couple first met in 1995 in an acting class, and they were married five years later in August 2000.

But it’s not all smooth sailing for the pair as they raise three boys, with Will recently describing their household as ‘running a small correction facility.’ 

Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to guest host Jennifer Aniston in January, he said all parenting techniques are thrown out the window. 

‘As a parent of tree boys, it’s a lot of chaos, and all parenting rules go completely out the window,’ he began.   

‘You go from all the things you read about like conflict resolution, “I’m sorry that your feelings are hurt,”… within five minutes it’s like, “Get upstairs now and brush your teeth. Shut up, I don’t care, why? Because I said so.”‘ 

‘It’s like running a small correctional facility. I want to get high powered water cannons installed so I can just hose them down. 1600 pounds of pressure up against the wall.’
