Model Elyse Knowles knows her best angles.

The Byron Bay-based stunner teamed white bikini bottoms with a matching linen asymmetric top.

Her luscious blonde locks were styled straight and cascaded down her shoulders.

For makeup, Elyse’s look was kept minimal with a glowing base, blush and lightly bronzed cheeks, as well as a light pink matte lipstick.

‘Outtakes from today’s afternoon bliss,’ she wrote in the caption.

Elyse’s beachside photo shoot comes after she admitted that she feels insecure when she does not wear foundation or use fake tan.

Last month, she shared a makeup free selfie to Instagram that revealed her freckles, and explained that she was ‘feeling a little vulnerable about the friends on my face’.

She added: ‘Here I feel pale and a little blah to be honest as I stand very open to opinionated people.’

Back in April, Elyse was slammed for calling the deadly COVID-19 pandemic a ‘gift’ to the planet in an interview with A Conscious Collection for Earth Day.

‘While the spread of coronavirus has been devastating in countless ways, if we look for a silver-lining we’ll find the gift it’s given our planet,’ she said.

She went on to list the supposed benefits, including cleaner air, ‘glistening’ beaches, and ‘a safer home’ for wildlife as people stay home to practise social distancing.

In response to the comments, one critic wrote on social media: ‘So from Brunswick to Byron and now you’re an expert? Yes things have changed but at what cost? Clearly the human cost means nothing to you.’

But there were some people who agreed with Elyse, and they rushed to support the model by voicing their opinions online.

‘Humans are the plague of the earth and in lockdown the world is starting to slowly heal itself before we start destroying it again,’ one of them wrote.
