Phoebe Burgess shared her thoughts on a post-isolation world as she enjoyed a day in the sun with her children at her parents’ Bowral farm on Saturday.
The 31-year-old shared a number of cheerful photos to Instagram, in which she played outside with her daughter Poppy, three, and son Billy, one.
Alongside the pictures she wrote at length: ‘If there’s one thing I took away from the recent isolation, it was how much I valued the freedom I so clearly took for granted.

‘The freedom to; get outside with my kids, play (the highest form of learning according to Einstein), human touch, cuddles.
‘The ability to soak up healthy doses of Winter sunshine – whenever we want and make precious memories together on our outdoor adventures.
‘So, as a family, we never wanted to waste a sunny day again. We created a Daily (play) Ritual.

‘We get outside and embark on a little activity, for at least half an hour every day. It can be anything from swings at the park.
‘Kicking a ball or digging a hole (Billy’s choices) or climbing a tree and riding a miniature pony dressed as Cinderella (clearly Poppy’s pick),’ Phoebe explained.
She added that the daily rituals add to ‘mental strength’ and ‘strengthen family bonds’.

Phoebe and Sam wed in 2015. They split for a second time in October last year, after initially separating in December 2018.
