A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing the death of a 12-year-old boy.
West Mercia Police said officers were told the youngster was in cardiac arrest at a house in Fields Close, Shrewsbury, at about 4.50pm on June 13.
The child was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
A force spokeswoman said: ‘A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of causing/allowing the death of a child and have been released on police bail.’
