Colin Farrell wears a protective mask during a solo run to 7/11 store near his home in LA… as Irish actor continues to spend most of his COVID-19 quarantine alone

Colin Farrell spent the first couple of weeks of quarantine by himself in his home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles when the COVID-19 lockdown started back in March.

He has since reunited with his two sons, who live in the city with their mothers, as safety precautions began to ease.

And on Friday, during some more alone-time, the Irish actor made a quick stop at a 7/11 store near his house wearing a black protective mask.

For the run, the Horrible Bosses star, 44, showed off the results of his exercise routine in a black, sleeveless t-shirt that highlighted his tattoo-less, toned biceps.

Turns out Farrell had his arm ink removed because he got tired of sitting in make-up chairs on movie sets having them covered up.

Thinking casual-comfort, he also donned black track pants, flip-flops and wrapped a bandana around his head that held back his short spiky hair.

Just before the lockdown began, Farrell was in London working on the highly-anticipated reboot, The Batman. Principal photography began in January but the production was shutdown when the virus reached a fever pitch in March.

From there, Farrell flew to Los Angeles and spent the first two weeks alone and isolated at his home, which left an indelible mark on his psyche.

‘I don’t have a partner and my two children were with their moms,’ he revealed in an interview with the Irish Central.

‘I remember after about nine or 10 days, feeling the absence of touch in my life.’

He went on to talk about how he has missed the simple handshake, hug and knuckle bump from a friend.

Eventually the actor was able to reunite with his children, and spend some quality time with them.

Farrell shares his 10-year-old son Henry with Polish actress Alicja Bachleda-Curuś. Their relationship reportedly ended in the mid-2010. He also has a 16-year-old son James from his relationship with American model Kim Bordenave.

When filming of The Batman eventually picks back up, Farrell will be playing the villainous Penguin, alongside Robert Pattinson who stars as the titular caped crusader.

The stellar cast also includes Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, John Turturro,  Peter Sarsgaard, Jayme Lawson and Andy Serkis, among others.
