Beyonce in ‘tentative talks’ to join forces with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for Destiny’s Child reunion
Destiny’s Child are reuniting.
Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams are all in ‘tentative talks’ about reuniting for a tour, according to The Mirror.
‘They’ve always said they would get back together one day when the time is right – and there is no time like the present,’ a source said of the trio, who went on indefinite hiatus in 2006.

‘Nothing has been signed off yet, but as soon as a vaccine is ready and the pandemic is over, watch out for an announcement. It would really lift fans’ spirits.’
If their reunion happened this year it would coincide with the 30th anniversary of the forming of the group Girl’s Tyme, which eventually became Destiny’s Child.
Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle all became stars through the group with songs like Survivor, Bootylicious and Say My Name.
They were managed by Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles, with her mother Tina Knowles (now Lawson) making their costumes.

After their breakup they reunited twice – first when Beyonce played the Super Bowl halftime show in 2013 and then five years later when she headlined Coachella.
The women have remained personal friends as well and Tina even referred to Kelly as one of her ‘daughters’ in a Time magazine piece.
Last November Entertainment Tonight asked Kelly about a speculated reunion tour and she said: ‘I haven’t heard anything about it.’
She went on: ‘I talk to the girls all the time. We talk about kids or a night out or – that hasn’t come up in conversation.’

Mathew released a memoir last year called Destiny’s Child: The Unknown Story and he has also said he is working on a musical about managing the girl group.
Last month he told Us Weekly that ‘I hope’ a reunion will happen, but ‘I also understand that Kelly and Beyonce are mothers and they have a family and that changes the dynamics.’
He continued: ‘Each one of the ladies are successful in their own right. They all have their individual solo careers. So coordinating family, careers, that’s a lot of juggling. I’m sure in due time the ladies will decide if that’s what they want to do and if they do or do not as supportive as I could be as their manager.’
