‘Nice tee see you!’ Ant McPartlin finally reunites with best pal Declan Donnelly to enjoy a round of golf after they were separated for months by lockdown

They have been separated for months by the coronavirus lockdown.

And Ant McPartlin finally reunited with his co-host and best friend Declan Donnelly for a round of golf together at their local course on Friday afternoon.

The TV hosts, both 44, donned matching polo shirts as they shared a snap of themselves together on their joint Instagram pages during the game.

Ant teamed his bright blue club polo shirt with a pair of navy trousers and white golf shoes, while posing with the club in his hands.

Dec was rocked a pair of smart shorts for the outing, while mimicking a golf swing during the reunion snap with his longtime pal.

The duo captioned the snap: ‘Nice tee see you ⛳️ Reunited and back on the course!’

Professional golfer Lee Westwood commented on the post and joked that they were standing in the ‘rough’ of the course, while they quipped back that: ‘Normal service had resumed!’

On Wednesday, football-mad Ant and Dec celebrated the momentous day with a video on their shared Twitter account.

The TV duo both dressed in their beloved Newcastle colours as they performed tricks in their gardens.

Ant and Dec have endeavoured to keep their fans amused amid the crisis, first by continuing to film Saturday Night Takeaway without an audience, and then airing pre-recorded episodes of Britain’s Got Talent.

However the live shows were postponed until later this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, with ITV bosses yet to confirm an official return date.

Last month it seemed that Ant had finally ‘lost his head’ being separated from Dec, after he played another joke on his presenting pal in a hilarious Instagram video.

The presenter was outraged as Dec somehow managed to slap him by placing his arm through a rubber ring in his garden, leading him to try and put his head through the hole in fury.

In the video Dec playfully pulls out a rubber ring in an attempt to get revenge on Ant for his previous jokes.

Putting his arm through the hole, his arm was magically transported to Ant’s garden, where he was clearly pining for the Premier League’s return by reading a Newcastle United annual.

Dec giggled to his followers as he dramatically slapped Ant through the hole in the ring, leading him to dramatically stick his head through.

Clearly terrified to see Ant’s head floating in the ring in his garden, Dec threw the ring away, leaving Ant’s headless body wandering around the garden in confusion.

Hoping to avoid getting into trouble, Dec nonchalantly wandered away from the video as if nothing had happened.

The pair captioned their post: ‘Some advice for revenge: keep cool… don’t lose your head.’
