Slaves’ guitarist Laurie Vincent reveals his girlfriend Emma Jane Mulholland has died aged 32 after cancer battle as he pens touching tribute to his ‘queen’
Slaves guitarist Laurie Vincent revealed on Wednesday that his girlfriend Emma Jane Mulholland has died aged 32, after a battle with cancer.
The musician, 26, took to Instagram to pen an emotional tribute to his other half following her tragic death earlier this week, as he gushed that she ‘showed me what love means.’
Laurie and Emma shared son Bart, three, and daughter Summer, 12 months, and he wrote on social media: ‘My Dolly Legs, you showed me what love means. I will love you forever. Sleep tight my queen, we will meet again.

In December, Slaves cancelled their UK tour so that Laurie could focus on Emma’s health, as she underwent chemotherapy for her illness.
Releasing a statement at the time, he informed fans: ‘Emma has been battling through immensely painful episodes every day for the past 3 months.

‘We hoped this wasn’t a permanent issue and that her symptoms would subside, I thought we would be able to cope and I could get through this tour.
‘However, this week her condition has rapidly deteriorated. At this point, Emma is in constant agony.’
On her daughter Summer’s birthday earlier this month, Emma shared a snap with her little one and penned an emotional message.

Punk Rock duo Slaves consists of Laurie and bandmate Isaac Holman, who formed the band in 2012 and have released three albums together.
