Jax Taylor rocks the same black sweats two days in a row as business partner Lance Bass clarifies their decision to cut ties

Jax Taylor has been facing steady backlash as fans call for his removal from Vanderpump Rules over past racist remarks.

And the reality TV star appears to be keeping busy after friend and business partner Lance Bass clarified their decision to cut ties.

He was spotted Wednesday sporting the same black sweats for the second consecutive day as he did some yard work at his Los Angeles home.

The 40-year-old sported a Violent Gentlemen Hockey Club hoodie with black sweatpants, slippers and a backward baseball cap.

He stepped out to the curb while using a leaf blower and listening to music on his Apple AirPods.

It comes after Bass, 41, announced that Taylor is ‘stepping down’ from their drink mix company Just Add X.

A rep for Taylor subsequently told E! News: ‘The statements from Lance on the podcast today are not only untrue but also extremely confusing and shocking to say the least.’

Bass then said Wednesday on his podcast The Daily Popcast: ‘He text[ed] and said, look, I think it’s smart for me to step down. And we’re like yes, that is the only we can do right now. And it sucks. And it’s very big of him to, like, get that.

‘But then the publicists and managers get involved, and lawyers, and just threw the biggest wrench in everything. And basically said I was lying that he’s stepping down.’

Taylor has recently come under fire for past instances of racism and homophobia, after Vanderpump Rules co-stars Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder were fired along with two new cast members for similar instances.

Bass said on Monday’s podcast: ‘Look, I’m gonna preface this right now ’cause I know we have a lot of new listeners here. So, I do not think Jax Taylor is a racist. Or a homophobe.

‘And I’ve said that millions of times. I would not be acquaintances with someone if I thought you were a flat out racist or homophobe. It just doesn’t make sense.’
