It comes after Gemma said she is determined to get pregnant in her forties, after losing an incredible three stone over the past year.

The TOWIE star, who is dating on-off beau James ‘Arg’ Argent, said she ‘would love to have a child’ now she has slimmed down after her doctor advised her to do so in order to better her chances of conceiving.

Speaking to The Sun on Wednesday, she explained: ‘I would love to have a child. It would be great for me and such a positive message for all the girls out there who don’t want to rush their life or their life has taken different a direction, like me who’s put their career first.

The star has been using controversial SkinnyJab injections for her weight loss, and said of why she was keen to slim down: ‘I’ve got a fabulous doctor. I can definitely have a child, he just told me it would be easier when I’m not carrying as much weight.

‘He gave me the confidence not to panic about it. He told me to lose a few stone and it will help me.’

Gemma added that she went to her doctor for medical advice about the weight loss injections to make sure it was safe to use as she’s ‘not stupid’, and said he reassured her of its benefits.

Earlier this month, Gemma detailed her battle with polycystic ovary syndrome battle (PCOS), and she told the publication she was diagnosed shortly after realising she was putting on weight despite the fact she ‘was always very slim.’

Sharing a throwback snap from her twenties to tell fans about the condition, the TV star wrote a heartfelt caption about how she was diagnosed with the condition shortly after it was taken.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges. Symptoms include menstrual irregularity, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity.

Gemma said she tries to ‘remain positive’ and urged her followers to be kind as health issues can cause people to be overweight rather than diet and exercise.
