Amanda Kloots has been keeping a brave face for her 326,000 Instagram followers as husband recovers from coronavirus complications.
The couple most recently faced another obstacle, as she revealed that he’s not a candidate for a lung transplant.
She wrote Wednesday on her Instagram story: ‘Prayers for Nick. Please pray that Nick’s blood pressure gets better.’

The 38-year-old posted a video the day before, giving an update on Nick’s health as he recovers in the hospital.
She said: ‘Some days are good, some days aren’t. We’re basically just trying to see if we can get him stable and strong enough to have more options. That’s where we’re at right now. It’s monotonous, and it is hard on a daily basis — very, very hard for me and, I’m sure, even more so for Nick.
‘Nick is there. There’s not much going on, but he’s there. His eyes are open and he’s looking up and down and answering questions. He’s there.’
Amanda added: ‘Every day that goes by, I just feel like my heart is just breaking more and more and more because I think about him laying there, and I just am devastated.

She recently celebrated another major milestone in their son Elvis’ life, sharing a video of the one-year-old taking his first steps on Tuesday, writing: ‘We have a WALKER!!!!!!!!’
After a few unaided steps, the toddler then returned to the ground, looking very pleased with himself.
The fitness instructor later reflected on the bittersweet moment, that took place during her husband Nick’s 76th day in the ICU due to coronavirus complications.

Amanda and Nick wed in 2017 and share a one-year-old son named Elvis, who celebrated his first birthday last week.
In a recent update, she revealed that although a CT scan of Nick’s lungs ended up not being ‘the prettiest, unfortunately’ his doctor insisted that there are ‘options’ for his recovery.

She said: ‘He told me today that despite a not pretty CT scan on Nick’s chest and lungs area, that the lungs are amazing and they can function, and we just keep thinking about the options that we have and getting him stronger.’
Back in April, Amanda reported that her husband’s lungs had become severely damaged since contracting coronavirus, which made him ineligible for a lung transplant that some COVID-19 patient have received.
Nick’s doctor did not ‘think he could handle or survive a lung transplant’ due to his lack of strength.
‘However, one day, if he does get strong enough, maybe that is something that could be a possibility for Nick. But right now, not a possibility. He just wouldn’t survive. He’s just too weak,’ she concluded.
Doctors at a California’s Cedars Sinai Medical Center opted to put Cordero, 41, into a medically-induced coma after he was hospitalized for pneumonia on April 1, and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.
Blood-clotting issues forced doctors to amputate his right leg and his lungs have suffered severe damage due to the respiratory disease. He has also received a temporary pacemaker.
A GoFundMe page created to raise funds for Cordero’s medical bills has raised more than $564,000 as of Friday after beginning with a $480,000 goal.
