Radio host Ben Fordham reveals his one-year-old daughter Goldie ‘likes the sound of her own voice’

He welcomed his third child Marigold ‘Goldie’ Jean with wife Jodie Speers last year. 

And Goldie, one, has clearly taken after her father Ben Fordham with one particular trait.

On Tuesday, the 43-year-old shared an adorable video of Goldie making different noises, revealing she liked the ‘sound of her own voice’.

‘My gorgeous Goldie likes the sound of her own voice,’ the new 2GB breakfast host wrote on Instagram. He jokingly added: ‘Don’t know where she gets it from.’ 

Ben regularly shares photos of his family on social media. In an Instagram post last month, the radio star revealed he felt immensely thankful for his family. 

Alongside a photo of Jodie embracing their baby daughter, Marigold, Ben wrote a moving caption.

He shared an adorable clip to Instagram, in which he has a conversation about coronavirus with the two youngsters.

‘I’m just telling these two how proud of them I am because they’ve been dealing with this drama so good. You tell everyone, what aren’t you allowed to do at the moment?’ Ben said in the clip. 

‘Go to the playground and have play-dates. We can’t go to restaurants but we can get takeaway for some of them!’ Freddy replied. 

‘We can’t go to parks,’ Pearl added.   

‘I said that Pearl. But we can go to parks, we just can’t go on the equipment. And no school, no play group and no pre school,’ Freddy said before the clip ended.
