MasterChef fans are outraged after the show’s screening schedule is reduced to three days a week instead of the usual five as the competition heats up
MasterChef viewers were left devastated on Tuesday after learning the show wouldn’t be returning until Sunday.
Up until now, the hit cooking series has been screening on Channel 10 from Sunday through to Thursday.
However, moving forward it will now be airing from Sunday to Tuesday, as the competition heats up.

Many fans were furious about the scheduling changes, venting their frustrations on Twitter.
‘Whyyyyy only 3 nights a week? I have nothing else in my life,’ tweeted one fan, while another wrote, ‘What? No Masterchef until Sunday?’
‘So no @masterchefau tomorrow, day after, day after that,’ commented another.

Many fans seemed shocked by the scheduling changes, with the series now nearing the Top 7.
‘Wait no #MasterChefAU for the rest of the week?!’ tweeted one viewer, while another added, ‘SUNDAY NIGHT NOO I CAN’T WAIT 4 DAYS’.
‘Five days of #MasterChefAU a week, down to three days. What else do I do!’ wrote another fan of the culinary cooking hit.
