Brittany Cartwright asks for prayers after her mother Sherri is placed in the ICU following emergency surgery

Brittany Cartwright’s mom, Sherri, has been placed in the intensive care unit after requiring emergency surgery following a scheduled bladder surgery in March.

In a now deleted Instagram Story, the 31-year-old Vanderpump Rules’ star penned: ‘Please keep my beautiful mom in your prayers.’

Sherri took to Twitter back in March to alert her followers about the procedure that took place that month, asking them then to keep her in their thoughts.

Sherri’s pastor, Ryan Dotson, confirmed last week that Sherri had been put in ICU and her condition was uncertain.

‘I would like to ask all my friends to please pray for my friend and church member Sherri Turner Cartwright,’ he wrote on Wednesday.

‘She had to have an emergency surgery after having a scheduled procedure that went bad. She’s in ICU and things are uncertain, so please join us in prayer for Sherri and believe God for her full recovery.’

Ryan, who was initially chosen to officiate Britanny and Jax Taylor’s wedding, has previously come under fire for his transphobic remarks, causing the pair to choose someone else.

‘He’s always been kind to me, I didn’t know his past that well, I was taught be nice to others, regardless,’ the reality star shared at the time.

‘I don’t agree with his thinking but that doesn’t mean I need to attack the man. Be kind to everyone, isn’t that what we are fighting for. We are human. Remember that.’

It’s been a rough week for Brittany between her mom’s health condition and the firing of co-stars, Stassi Shroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni following their past racist remarks.

While Brittany and Jax have not been fired, haters have been pulling out the receipts from times when they’ve both been racist themselves.
