You will be joined by Adam Henson (above)

Adam Henson is possibly the UK’s best-known farmer, often presenting Countryfile from his Cotswolds Farm Park. He took over Bemborough Farm from his father in 1999 and it now welcomes more than 100,000 visitors every year.

Adam grows wheat, spring barley and oilseed rape, has a flock of 400 commercial ewes and over 50 breeding flocks and herds of British rare breeds.

Meet Adam Henson:

Adam will welcome you to Cotswold Farm Park, which has been in his family for almost 60 years and has the UK’s leading collection of rare-breed animals. He’ll talk about life combining farming and television presenting.

Join Adam for lunch:

While you’re at the farm, you will enjoy a delicious private lunch with Adam in the wonderful setting before you have the chance to explore for yourself.

Guided tour of Rodmarton Manor:

One of the last country houses to be built and furnished by local craftsmen using local stone and local timber, Rodmarton Manor is set in an eight-acre garden that was designed as a series of outdoor rooms. You’ll tour the estate as well as enjoying lunch.

See potters in action:

During your visit to Whichford Pottery, world-famous for their award-winning flowerpots, you’ll have a chance to see the hand-throwing and hand-pressing methods loved by gardeners all over the globe.

Explore the finest gardens:

A Cotswolds must-see is the colourful Arts and Crafts garden at Hidcote, created by Major Lawrence Johnston and featuring wonderful secret gardens connected by a maze of narrow paved pathways. Painswick Rococo Garden is the only surviving garden of its kind in the UK – you’ll feel you have escaped back to the early 1700s during a private tour.

Visit Daylesford Organic Farm:

You’ll be familiar with the produce from Daylesford Organic Farm from your supermarket shelves and you’ll have a chance to go behind the scenes at the award-winning farm. A pioneer in the organic farming movement, Daylesford remains one of the most sustainable farms in the country.
