Hannah Ferrier talks pregnancy and her final season on Below Deck Mediterranean

Below Deck Mediterranean returned to the high seas on the largest yacht in the history of the Bravo show – and the bigger the yacht, the bigger the drama.

Chief stew Hannah Ferrier exclusively joined DailyMailTV to talk about this season’s voyage around Mallorca, Spain on the 184-foot mega yacht The Wellington and teased some ‘oh my god’ moments.

The pregnant 33-year-old also dished about her dramatic final season on the reality series and how yachting has prepared her for motherhood.

Ahoy: Pregnant Hannah Ferrier exclusively joined DailyMailTV to talk about this season of Below Deck Mediterranean – her final one ever – and teased some ‘oh my god’ moments

‘It definitely a season like no other,’ Hannah teased. ‘It’s just beginning.’

‘There are two episodes and everyone’s like, ‘oh my god,’ I’m like, ‘oh you have no idea what’s coming,”‘ she continued.

Under the leadership of Captain Sandy, the Below Deck crew will face all manner of obstacles off to coast of Mallorca – including rough waters, challenges with the crew and difficult guests.

For Hannah, it will mark her fifth and final season with the series and she shocked fans with the recent announcement that she was quitting Below Deck.

Headlines swirled with rumors about why she was abruptly leaving the show or if she had possibly been fired but, in truth, the star decided to make her exit after finding out she was pregnant with her first child.

‘I saw all the headlines come out and I was like: oh yeah, I guess if I wasn’t pregnant, that would be big news,’ she said. ‘And they don’t know I’m pregnant so that makes sense.’

Hannah later revealed her happy news to fans and is about five months along in her pregnancy, due in October.

After she gives birth, the chief stew doesn’t plan on returning to yachting or Below Deck.

‘Below Deck is very- it’s a lot of work,’ she said. ‘It’s very mentally draining, very physically draining, and it probably does bring on my anxiety more than other things in my life.’

'I feel like if there’s any job in this world that can prepare you for that is probably chief stew because we’re just conditioned to just keep going no matter what and keeping happy and keeping positive. Surely it can’t be as bad as charter season.'

She jokes, however, the working on mega yachts has prepared her for this next chapter in her life as she enters motherhood.

She added with a laugh: ‘Surely it can’t be as bad as charter season.’

'I’ve never had a stewardess like Lara before. There’s not even anything I can do, you know? And I think that it’s especially frustrating you know when you’ve got a captain who’s like, "oh just do this and work with them." And you’re like, "no, you don’t get it." There’s no working with this person.'
