EXCLUSIVE: Sonia Kruger’s secret connection to Big Brother housemate Marissa Rancan revealed… as multiple contestants confess that they knew each other before filming
It isn’t just some of the Big Brother housemates that knew each other before filming.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that Sonia Kruger had previously met Marissa Rancan, and the makeup artist gushed over the ‘beautiful’ host last year.
Marissa glammed the Channel Seven host up ahead of an event in June 2018.

The Big Brother contestant shared a throwback selfie of the pair to Instagram last June, happily reminiscing of working with the ‘beautiful human’.
‘This time last year I had the privilege of doing the gorgeous and talented Sonia Kruger’s makeup before she headed off to the Logies. What a beautiful human inside and out,’ wrote Marissa on her Marissa Rancan Makeup Artist profile.
It’s believed that the two women only met the once when Sonia visited a Sydney department store that Marissa previously worked in. She was never part of the Channel Seven host’s glam squad, and simply asked her for a selfie instead.
Neither of them appeared to remember they’d met before as Sonia welcomed Marissa into the Big Brother house on Monday night.

During Wednesday’s episode of Big Brother, Sarah McDouglas revealed that she already knew intruder housemate Hannah Campbell.
She explained that the pair met during the show’s lengthy audition process.
Sarah later told Big Brother that she found Hannah ‘rude’, ‘not nice’ and a ‘try-hard’ during their initial meeting, and slammed the newcomer to her co-stars.

Similarly, Allan Liang and Garth Saville met during the audition process.
‘I met Allan in the audition process… he was too vocal, and he kept saying “I am going to stab everyone in the back”,’ Garth recalled in an interview with The Star Observer on Wednesday.
He said he viewed Allan as a potential threat and immediately decided to vote him out. Allan was evicted during Tuesday’s episode, after Garth nominated him.
