Asher Keddie on the strange way she met husband Vincent Fantauzzo

Asher Keddie has been married to her husband Vincent Fantauzzo since 2014.

And in the new issue of Marie Claire magazine, the Offspring actress revealed the strange way that she first met the award-winning artist.

The 45-year-old said that her agent convinced her to let Vincent paint a portrait of her.

However, things didn’t start of well, with Vincent arriving late to the session. 

‘After fifteen minutes I called my agent to tell her I was leaving – I’d had a big shoot week and was too tired to stand around waiting.’

Her agent urged her to just wait another five minutes, which she reluctantly did, and then when Vincent eventually arrived their connection was instant. 

‘When Vincent finally arrived, he was very dishevelled and chaotic-looking. There was an instantaneous and intense connection between us,’ she said. 

‘From that moment, we were very much involved. And we’ve been together ever since.’

The couple officially tied the knot in a barefoot ceremony in Fiji.

In 2015, they welcomed their first child together, a son named Valentino Fantauzzo.

Vincent photographed Asher in their home for the cover of Marie Claire magazine’s latest issue. 

Meanwhile, the Aussie actress recently landed what is arguably the biggest role of her career.

The 45-year-old is set to appear in the upcoming limited series, Nine Perfect Strangers, alongside Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy.

The series is based on a novel by author Liane Moriarty, who was behind the blockbuster Big Little Lies.
