Lala Kent has explained why her fiancé Randall Emmett’s long-running feud with 50 Cent was not featured on this season’s Vanderpump Rules.

50 Cent took to Instagram in April 2019 to detail a $1 million dispute with producer Emmett, and has been locked in an amusing social media battle with the couple ever since.

The issue was only mentioned once on the show, when James Kennedy admitted that Kent, 30, was furious after he made a joke about it on Instagram, and she has revealed that nothing further was mentioned due to ‘legal reasons.’

‘Everything’s good now’: Lala Kent is explaining why her fiancé Randall Emmett’s long-running feud with 50 Cent was not featured in this season’s Vanderpump Rules.

Kent explained on Tuesday night’s reunion episode of the show: ‘There was a very public beef between myself and a pretty famous rapper, and it got very bad. I felt like James and I had moved so beyond doing petty s**** to each other that when I saw that it was just like a knife in my heart.’

‘Everything’s good now,’ Kent said. ‘Myself and Randall and this rapper, we just don’t speak about each other.’

Host Andy Cohen then asked why fans didn’t get to see more of the beef on season 8 of the show.

Happy couple: Kent and Emmett got engaged in September 2018 and were planning on getting married in April before announcing the postponement.

‘Well, number one, when this all happened, we were not filming. I think we would have had a much harder time if it was happening during filming. But there was also a lot of legal stuff going on that…’ she explained awkwardly, adding: ‘Yeah.’

50 Cent made Randall a viral laughing stock after sharing screen grabs of messages where the producer complained that he was having a health crisis and headed to an emergency room, adding, ‘I’m sorry fofty’.

However, the rapper also made a dig at the couple in April when they announced they were postponing their wedding due to coronavirus, with 50 joking: ‘wasn’t nobody going to this s*** anyway’.

The rapper told Cohen later that he didn’t regret their feud as it meant that he got paid ‘right away.’

Kent and Emmett got engaged in September 2018 and were planning on getting married in April before announcing the postponement.

‘We have decided to move the date of our wedding to July given the unfortunate circumstances of what is going on,’ the couple told People in a statement on Wednesday.

Their announcement came just days after reality persona Kent mocked the threat of the ongoing pandemic, telling Instagram followers: ‘I don’t feel that God would give me coronavirus before I get married.’

Emmett was previously wed to actress Ambyr Childers, 31, from 2009 until their separation in 2017 and the finalization of their divorce two years later. They share two girls, London, 10 and Rylee, six.

Kent shot to fame appearing on the Bravo series Vanderpump Rules, and has roughly 1.3 million followers on Instagram.
