And weeks later, Tori Spelling took to her Instagram to wish her daughter Stella a happy 12th birthday.
The actress, 47, shared a slideshow of snaps in honor of her eldest daughter’s birthday as she gushed about her in the caption.

She continued: ‘I blinked and she grew up. She is perhaps the wisest human I know. She feels, she creates, she listens, and she understands. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I’m her mom and not my best friend.’
Adding: ‘But, ultimately she IS. We hug, kiss, and hold hands daily and I look forward to doing that forever with her. She taught me how to be a mom to a daughter. She, in many ways is my teacher.’
Tori said: ‘She is my fashion muse or am I hers? Either way it’s a beautiful creative and special relationship. She is a second mom to her baby brother Beau and is completely selfless with her time and taking care of him. She is a triple threat! A baker, A chef, and a DIY Diva.’

The actress , who is married to Dean McDermott, is mom to Stella, Liam, 13, Hattie, eight, Finn, seven, and Beau, three; Dean has a son named Jack, 21, from his first marriage with Mary Jo Eustace.

Dean emphasized that Tori is ‘a wonderful person’ who will ‘always gets the haters and ‘get dragged’ because she is Tori Spelling.
