Has Jules Robinson been dropped as a Weight Watchers ambassador?

Jules Robinson was announced as an ambassador for WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, in September 2019.

And now, the global company has addressed rumours the tv star has been dropped as an ambassador after announcing her pregnancy in April.

Weight Watchers revealed on Instagram Jules, 37, won’t be following their program while pregnant but will still remain as an ambassador.

‘We are so happy for Jules Robinson and the news of her pregnancy. While she won’t be following the program while pregnant, she will remain a #wwambassador and part of the #WWcommunity⁣,’ the post read.

The company explained ‘when growing a baby, the nutritional needs are different to weight loss. So six weeks after having a baby we welcome members back.’

Jules also said that she loves being an ambassador and is proud of everything she’s achieved but will be taking a break.

She said: ‘I’m proud that I achieved what I did in time to grow life inside me, to feel fit and strong and to become a reformed yo yo dieter. That was always my goal.⁣⁣’

‘I absolutely love being a ambassador, health is wealth and feeling good no matter what size you are is what I truly believe. It’s about wellness and making progress not perfection to feel great.’

‘But for now as I make a baby I am not following the #wwprogram. I’m being mindful of all that I learnt and I look forward to returning guns blazing when the time is right.⁣⁣’

Jules started her journey as a WW ambassador last year ahead of her wedding to her husband Cameron Merchant after putting on 10 kilograms since filming for Married At First Sight ended in September 2018.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph at the time, she said: ‘I want to look fabulous on my wedding day and I want to start a family soon, so I want my body to be in its best form to make a baby and to bounce back from that as well.’

She continued: ‘I really believe healthy is the new skinny. I am an advocate for being healthy and loving your body how it is.’
