Garth said he previously met Allan during the show’s interviewing process, but that fact was never aired on TV.

It’s unclear if he ever discussed his past with Allan with his fellow housemates, instead telling his co-stars he was ‘obsessed with the game and knows it better than anyone’.

‘I met Allan in the audition process… he was too vocal, and he kept saying “I am going to stab everyone in the back”,’ Garth admitted.

Viewing Allan as a potential threat, he added: ‘Everyone wanted to vote Kieran [Davidson] out, but using my experience in recruitment, I told people to vote Allan.’

Meanwhile, Allan didn’t once address or acknowledge that Garth was in his initial round of interview for the show. Perhaps he forgot.

He was shocked to become the second evicted housemate and didn’t hold back on Tuesday night.

The confident and high-achieving salesman, 31, called the other housemates ‘liars’ as he was driven away from the compound in Manly, Sydney.

He even begged producers to put him back on the show as five days ‘wasn’t enough for Allan’ and he was embarrassed about being sent home after less than a week.

‘This is absolute abuse. Allan coming out second after five days? That’s too short. I want to go back in and stir the pot some more.’
