Michelle Bridges and Steve Willis move out of $6million Potts Point unit

Michelle Bridges and her ex-partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis moved the last of their belongings out of the Sydney unit they once shared on Saturday.

Despite the emotional circumstances, Michelle, 49, smiled as she doted over her four-year-old son, Axel, while a team of removalists got to work.

Steve, 44, looked far more serious, however, and kept to himself as he loaded his possessions onto a trailer attached to his car.

The former couple spoke to the removalists separately and weren’t outside together at the same time, making it easy for them to avoid each other.

After approximately 30 minutes, Steve and a male friend left together with his stuff safely packed in the trailer.

Michelle was far more upbeat than her ex, and spent most of the time with a happy smile on her face.

At one point, she crouched down to give little Axel a kiss and a cuddle.

In February, the Daily Telegraph reported that Michelle had sold the unit in 2019 for about $6million, after purchasing it for $2.9million in 2013.

She had originally bought the three-bedroom unit in Sydney’s east with ex-husband Bill Moore in 2013, before their split in early 2015.

The property was later transferred solely into Michelle’s name in 2016. It boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms and stunning views of Sydney’s CBD.

They began dating in 2015, after splitting from their partners, and share custody of son Axel together.

Michelle and Steve announced their shock split in January.

Following the break-up, Michelle blew 0.086 when she was pulled over in her Range Rover with Axel in the car, at about 11.25am on January 26.

After being charged, she released a statement claiming she was going through a ‘very difficult time’ following her split from Steve.

The star was later fined $750 and had her licence disqualified for three months, after pleading guilty to mid-range drink driving.

Outside court, a tearful Michelle said: ‘I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep remorse, shame and humiliation [over] this incident and extreme lack of judgment.

‘I would like to apologise to my family, friends and community for this gross error in judgment and the consequences of these actions will haunt me forever.’
