Sassy Big Brother contestant Angela Clancy becomes the most popular star on the show

Big Brother contestant Angela Clancy has emerged as an early favourite on this year’s series.

Shortly after making her debut on Monday’s premiere episode, fans flocked to Twitter to rave about the sassy 38-year-old.

‘Angela’s the clear star,’ tweeted one viewer, while another fan wrote, ‘I’m obsessed and Angela is a queen’.

One person said Angela was destined for ‘reality TV stardom’, and claimed her talent would be ‘wasted’ on Big Brother. 

‘Tbh say that Angela is annoying all you want but she’s carrying this show and ya f**kin know it,’ tweeted another fan.

Others labelled her as ‘iconic’, referring to her as ‘TV GOLD’. 

‘Angela is such an iconic housemate,’ tweeted one fan, while another person wrote, ‘I’m going to be making so many Angela GIFs, aren’t I?’   

Added another: ‘Angela is a mood in this comp’. 

The outspoken reality star instantly won fans when she got into an argument about whose house it was with Big Brother in the diary room.

‘This is my house, Angela,’ Big Brother repeatedly told her, after she labelled the Big Brother house ‘my house’.

‘Well, we’ll see about that. I’m residing in here, you are out there, so it’s my house now,’ she responded.

Eventually, she told Big Brother it’s ‘our house’, but insisted he treat her nicely since she was a guest.  

Later, she returned to the diary room after being unable to find any tea in the pantry, telling Big Brother they had ‘a problem’.

‘Tea is not part of your basic rations. You’ll have to earn it in time,’ Big Brother told her matter-of-fact.  

‘Tea is basic! Are you kidding me?! I’m going to have to earn tea?’ the incredulous housemate responded.
