‘No privacy whatsoever!’ The awkward moment Samantha Armytage walks in on David Koch using the bathroom as they visit the Big Brother house

Big Brother Australia is set to premiere on Monday night.

And Sunrise’s Samantha Armytage and David Koch have already had a taste of the Big Brother experience, thanks to a very awkward live segment on Monday morning.

The pair were reporting from inside Big Brother house to promote the reality show, but things went awry when Samantha and Kochie became momentarily separated.

‘No privacy whatsoever!’ Sunrise’s Samantha Armytage, 43, accidentally walked in on her co-host David ‘Kochie’ Koch, 64, in the bathroom as they reported live from inside the Big Brother house on Monday morning

Searching for her co-host, Samantha told the camera crew: ‘I have lost Kochie. I am waiting for him in the corridor. Kochie, where are you?’

The blonde wandered into the bathroom, only to find Kochie buttoning up his trousers inside a toilet cubicle.

‘Oh!’ Kochie exclaimed in shock as he stumbled out of the stalls.

Laughing at the awkward encounter, Samantha told the cameras: ‘I kid you not. There is no privacy whatsoever!’

Samantha and Kochie then gave viewers a brief tour of the bathroom, joking that it ‘lacked ventilation’.

‘Can you think of anything worse? There is a reason I am staying out here,’ Samantha giggled, backing out of the room.

‘We have to go to the bathroom in shifts!’ mused Kochie.

The new Big Brother house’s bathroom offers contestants no privacy, with cameras fitted inside the toilet stalls and rows of  showers separated only by small glass panels.

Channel Seven revealed last Thursday that the housemates’ shower time is limited to just 60 minutes of water per day divided between 20 people.

This means that each contestant will get just three minutes of water at the start of the season – if they split the time equally among them.

The Big Brother reboot will premiere on Monday, June 8 at 7:30pm on Seven, hosted by Sonia Kruger in her first major role for the broadcaster since being poached from Nine last year.
