Emmy Rossum and husband Sam Esmail enjoy day out of quarantine as they grab lunch to-go in LA

Emmy Rossum and husband Sam Esmail enjoy another sunny day out of quarantine as they grab lunch and coffee to-go in LA

They have been known to split their time between New York and Los Angeles.

But Emmy Rossum and husband Sam Esmail have been enduring the last few months of the COVID-19 quarantine on the West Coast.

And over the weekend, the couple decided it was time to head out and grab some lunch and coffee in the Toluca Lake neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley.

Safety first: Emmy Rossum, 33, made sure to wear a protective mask when she and husband Sam Esmail headed out to grab some lunch and coffee to-go in Los Angeles

Adhering to safety precautions, the couple wore protective masks when they left the confines of their car and headed into a Coffee Bean for their cups of joe.

The former Shameless star, 33, kept it casual in the fashion department in light blue jeans and a white sweatshirt that had her name ‘Emmy’ written near her right shoulder.

She also wore white sneakers and styled her trademark curly brown tresses long and flowing.

Esmail, who’s best known for writing and directing the series Mr. Robot, starring Rami Malek, opted for dark blue jeans with a black t-shirt and dark sunglasses.

After picking up their tasty caffeinated drinks, the pair were off to buy some lunch to-go from a nearby chicken restaurant.

Again, the couple made sure to wear their masks when inside any public spaces near people. But once they were outside, and back on the go, they pulled off their masks and were on their way.

Rossum left Shameless last year after nine seasons on the hit Showtime comedy-drama series.

She is set to star as buxom Los Angeles billboard icon, Angelyne, in a new limited series set to air on NBCUniveral’s new streaming service, Peacock, which debuts July 15.

The drama is based on a Hollywood Reporter feature in 2017 by senior writer Gary Baum. Both Rossum and Esmail serve as executive producers on the project.
